Cupping Therapy

What is Cupping Therapy?

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction.

The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, inflammation, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite.

Is Cupping Therapy for you?

Cupping is great for athletes, as well as anyone who is suffering from stiffness, muscle tension, poor circulation, chronic pain and insomnia.

By creating suction and negative pressure, Cupping Therapy is used to soften tight muscles and tone attachments, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways.

Cupping Therapy wakes the body up and makes it feel invigorated, at the same time producing a profound level of healing through nervous system sedation. It stimulates the skin by increasing circulation while separating fused tissue layers and draining lymph to promote a smooth appearance and healthy glow.
